Alayah Collins
Alayah Collins is the President and CEO of Women In Pre-Med, Inc. Alayah earned her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Tuskegee University. Alayah currently attends Emory University, where she is pursuing her Master’s degree in Biomedical Innovation and Advanced Therapeutics. After completing her graduate studies, Alayah plans to attend medical school to become a Surgical Oncologist and to eventually establish her own biotech pharmaceutical company dedicated to developing and advancing newer cancer therapuetic treatments.

Alexis Collins
Board Chair & Director of Operations and Management
Alexis earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Tuskegee University.
Her career aspiration is to become a Cardiovascular Surgeon. In addition to pursuing this path, Alexis would like to conduct research on cardiac amyloidosis, working not only to understand the underlying mechanisms of the disease but also to develop effective treatments that improve patient outcomes.

Amaya Williams
Director of Programs
Amaya earned her Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and Psychology from North Carolina Central University. Amaya's career goals are to become a pediatric gastroenterologist and advance equitable care for patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).

Shonta Patterson
Director of Membership
Shonta earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Auburn University. Shonta's career goals are to become a Physician Assistant with experience in Orthopaedics, Labor and Delivery, and Emergency Medicine, later pursuing a Doctorate in Epidemiology.
